Compare Instagram Followers

How it works

  1. Select Download or transfer information.

    The Instagram “download your information” tool landing page.

  2. Select a single Instagram account.

    A selection list of your Meta accounts. One single Instagram account is selected.

  3. Select Some of your information.

    How much information do you want? You can get all available information for your selected profile or choose specific information. Option 1: All available information. Your file will include a complete copy of information for your selected profiles. May take longer to download. Option 2: Some of your information. Your file will include the information you choose for your selected profiles.

  4. Scroll to Followers and following and select it.

    A list of the types of downloadable data. The only type selected is 'Followers and following' under the 'Connections' section.

  5. Choose Download to device.

    What do you want to do with your information? Option 1: Download to device. Option 2 (selected): Transfer to destination

  6. Set Date range to All time.

    Set Format to JSON.

    Select Create files.

    Create files to download. Date range: All time. Format: JSON.

  7. Wait for Instagram to generate the files.

    This may take a few minutes. I don’t know why.

  8. Select Download, then enter your password.

    Current activity. Available downloads: one file set.
  • Your data stays on your device. We never upload or store your information on any servers.
  • All processing happens right here in your browser.
  • You can use this tool offline once the page has loaded.
  • We only read the followers and following lists from your Instagram data. Nothing else is accessed.
